Pasty butt, will he make it?

I bought a broody (really, really broody) Japanese Bantam hen with five little chicklets today. All are vigorous and healthy, but one lil' guy has pasty butt and is generally weak. I cleaned him up and put him back in with momma and the others (she's happily sitting on 5 Japanese Bantams, 4 Welsummers, and 3 Sebrights). Will he make it? Is there anything I could do to help him along?

Vitamins in the water will help. With new chicks you need to check their bottoms twice a day til they are a couple weeks old.

I had three out of 17 with the same problem. I had to keep cleaning them up for about 5 days, then they seemed to get it and it stopped! Good luck!
