pasty butt

it seems like bout every day my chicks have pasty butt... not all 17 but maybe 5 at the most.. and it is the same ones who have it....how do I stop this?

I'll tell you what some one posted on here that immediately stopped pasty butt in my two that I was having problems with....DIRT. I had never heard of this, hadn't seen it on here before. But, as soon as I put a dish of dirt in with my chicks, no more pasty butt. I guess this may not work for every single case of this but it sure did work for mine. Good luck.
