Patches the Cochin (not) Pullet (not)

I bought this bird and was told it is a Cochin pullet....BUT I think it is a Red Pyle OR Splash Brahma . Whatcha think??

It does not have the proper comb to be a Brahma. Looks cochin to me.

I'm not sure what she is, but she is very pretty. Another great place to post this and ask would be the Brahma thread, there are some really nice and very knowlagble people over there.

First, it's a boy.
It's not a brahma, they have pea combs. It's (mostly at least) cochin, just not great type.
It's not red pyle, the color you're seeing is just red leakage through the base color and tends to expand as the bird ages.
Looks to me like someone bred different colors of cochins together. It could also have something else straight-combed in the mix a generation or so back, or just poor type.
