Patience is a virtue but why no more green eggs

We found one green egg in the chicken run on 6-16-09 now we have not found anymore. I thought that once they started to lay then they keep on - I'm just being impatient.

Sometimes they will stop shortly after they started. I had one which laid 2 eggs, then didn't lay again for about 3 weeks.

Hi,

I had a new EE layer lay a couple of green eggs and then nothing for about 2 weeks. Then she started again and is now laying very regularly. I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck!
