I have 9 extremely gorgeous Australorps that are now 20 weeks old. They have filled out very nicely, have very bright red combs and wattles, and are just the most docile birds I've ever seen. I love to just sit and watch them. They like to carry on conversations with me. They meet me at the gate every time I feed, and if I talk to them they just start clucking and making all different kinds of noises. If I stop, they stop. It's really funny. I've already received so much enjoyment from them, but I would be excited to see some eggs. Most everything I've read says I should expect to see some eggs anytime now. I'm just wondering how long it took for some of you to see eggs from the same breed and if there are any signs that I might look for.
