Well, I had to throw them away actually,, try not to laugh here. I cut them and forgot to wash them so I came up with the bright idea of washing the already cut strip,, 2 yards worth in a lingerie bag,, well the bag opened in the washer,, the zipper opened, now I know to safety pin the bag closed too! The strips that stayed in the bag were fine,, the rest of them shredded and clogged up the washer filter.

I washed a ragged denim quilt in the washer. Killed it! All those little bitty threads, they looked like a pair of jeans stuck between the wash drum and outer drum. The washer was less than a month old!!!
