PATTERNS and INSTRUCTIONS

My last child has recently left the nest. So I am hoping to get back to sewing and crafting. We have taken our daughters old room and turned it into a craft room. I also take care of my mother who is "home bound". Since all of the kids are gone I am hoping I can find some spare time for crafting. But it seems like I spend most of my time just looking for ideas on the internet. I have way more projects printed out than I could ever accomplish. My husband is also going to put the quilt racks up. So I am really looking forward to quilting some of my grandmothers old quilt tops she left me.

Just jump in there and start one of those projects! Welcome to BackyardChickens!

Didn't check out all the links but I'm a total non-crafty person and was thinking about getting a quilting kit. Anyone know of any good sites for those? Otherwise I would be too overwhelmed to start out...

I've been trying to find a pattern for a while now, so thought I'd try. If anybody has the Interweave Knits Fall 2008 issue could you share the pattern for the dumpling bag...please?

does anyone have an easy pattern for knitted leg-warmers????

(for me not the chickens!)

thanks!

edited to remove my question. I posted my recipes as separate threads.
