Paws and Claws (RP) Roleplay

Quote: Jack gave her a weird look, one of disgust, and said "No. I have much better food to eat than that." in a blank, uninterested voice. (Yeah, it is a sign of lacking vitamins. Usually. Dogs will eat chicken poop just to eat it, along with cat poop. You seem to know a lot. We have 8 dogs, so I know some about the species.)

"Oh.." Cinder said finishing the last of the burger.

Quote: Jack sighed. He couldn't leave the kid all alone in the middle of a secluded alley; heaving another drawn-out sigh,he turned to face her. "Look, kid, do you wanna hang with me... or do you wanna wander here in the alley, alone?" he looked at her with an expression mixed with sympathy and a smidgen of annoyance, but his kind streak won him out, like always.

He sat down to scratch a flea while she pondered the conversation, and kicked his torn left ear. He was a bit deaf in that ear, as a result of a horrible fight he'd seen in his earlier days, and it was a handicap to him, being unable to hear as well as he used to. Having decided that he must have obliterated the vicious flea, he stood up again, shaking himself off and casting a glance in her direction.

"Made your decision yet, kid?" he asked in his gruff, growling voice.

Taz whined again. He pawed furiously at the lock of the door. It didn't budge. Frustrated, he began to howl. He knocked himself against the cage door, busting it open. Taz was knocked back, whining as pain split through his head. Shaking himself, he poked his head out of the cage, and stepped out, his claws making small tapping noises as they hit the floor. He bolted out the door.

(And 5 hours later she finally responds XD)
"Really?!" She asked excitedly.

Quote: (XD Yeah!)

Jack sighed, almost as if her boundless energy made him tired. "Yes. That's what I just said." he groaned, like he had better things to do. Truth be told, he had nothing to do. The most he could do would be to go mark a few trees and telephone poles, but he, by no means, needed to do anything, which meant he had no reason to be such a grump... at all.

Though he justified it by saying, "Look kid, I got things to do and places to go, so hurry up and answer my question: are you coming or not?" His voice had a sharp edge of anger to it, but it was clear that he wasn't really angry. He cared about the pup as much as she cared about... he didn't know what she cared about.

Turning to leave, he said, over his muscular shoulder, "If you're coming, you're gonna have to keep up. I aint slowing down, and I'm pretty sure my pace is faster than yours, so no dilly-dallying!" And he began to lumber forwards, his legs surging across the ground in a mile-eating pace, already leaving Cinder several paces behind.

"Ok!" Cinder cheerfully skipped up next to him her tail wagging.
