Adolpha stood tall as her fur and tail were whipped this way and that in the wind. This wolf knew nothing about her brother. Nothing.

Adolpha spun around and growled. She ran back and leapt at Cody, but he was ready. "I AM NOT A COWARD FILTHY LONER!"

Cody jumped out of the way. He locked his eyes on Adolpha. He was both fast and experienced, so he knew how to not get attacked. "Fear is part of being a coward. My last pack was cowards. They ran at danger. Amerock, he faced it!" Cody yelled. "If he didn't, then who was that wolf helping us escape the two-leggeds?"

"R-ight," Cody said. "Wolves don't do crazy stuff for someone they just met an hour before the trouble hit. They do crazy stuff for someone they love. And the two legged aren't week. They'll probably come back with more thunder sticks and if they do, if you pack was all brave, they still wouldn't stand a chance."
