"Right." Cody's ears went up. He perked out of one of the small holes. "Well, we're not dead..." he trailed off.

Amerock waited till the two-leggend got out of the box and picked up the jingles. He silently jumped off the box and went under it. He waited till the two-leggend had unlocked it to put Cody and whoever was in there back to sleep. Then he raced at the two-leggend's long leg and chomped down. Hard.

Marco cried out and dropped his keys as he felt a horrible pain in his leg. He looked down and saw a three legged wolf biting him. He drew his gun and aimed at the wolf's head.

Adolpha looked at Cody as the bird cried out and turned away from them. "Cody, attack, quick." She whispered.

Cody burst out of the box and knocked Marco off of his feet before he could shoot Amerock. "The stick!" he yelled.

Adolpha clenched her jaw and stood up with a yelp. She pounced onto the bird and took its stick. The bird tossed her aside, busy trying to save itself from Cody and Amerock. She wished she could help more, but she'd probably get in the way.

Marco kicked the three legged wolf off his leg and pushed the female away. He hit the other wolf aside as he stumbled up. He didn't dare grab his gun, so he stumbled up onto the truck's bed and picked a lead pipe up.

Cody jumped onto the two legged. He could see that it was injured. "It's hurt!" he barked. He looked at Adolpha. "Get up and go. Get the stick out of here or he'll kill us all!"

"Don't stop!" he coached. "If you can't carry it too far, hide it where he can't find it!" He looked down at the two legged and growled.
