) He asked how many I had and i said "oh about four dozen, but im always hatching more". Ive not had a sick bird yet (knock on wood). Maybe I will just "slow" my hatching down while I get my certification.

I have Eggs from AyeUpChuck in the bator right now. Very very nice eggs! Big and great dark color.

do they just care about eggs from outside sources maybe? what if you were just hatching eggs form your own birds (the ones that are gettign tested anyways?) sheesh...way to encourage people to participate in the program!!!

do they just care about eggs from outside sources maybe? what if you were just hatching eggs form your own birds (the ones that are gettign tested anyways?) sheesh...way to encourage people to participate in the program!!!

He told me I would have to have all poultry on my farm tested and that they all had to be over twelve weeks old to be tested. Then I would not be able to hatch any eggs from a farm that was not NPIP to keep my rating. That is why I would have to stop hatching for twelve weeks.
