Sorry I've been gone all day.... missed all the fun and confusion!! LOL

Rbaker... You will love the Icelandics.. they are my favorite breed... Everyone is different, some have crests, some have feathered legs... every type of comb you can imagine... good layers, excellent foragers... wonderful broodies.. all different colors and yet they are a pure landrace!! If you would prefer... I could send you a few Black Spanish turkey eggs.... pm me and let me know what you want to get...

As long as they don't have special needs, they can go in with what I call the gen. pop. free rangers. A cute little fuzzy chick is a cute little fuzzy chick no matter what breed. Plus, that's how I got my Javas, and even though I really didn't want them, The breed has grown on me. This may be a blessing in disguise.

But this will teach me to read more carefully. Thanks for your help everybody. Another example of how great this BYC community can be.
