Ok....another random genetic question. I am talking with someone who is looking for a serama that is only black or white. I told I thought that seramas come only in mixed colors and that it is hard to predict what they will look like. She says that the poultry book of standards only recognizes black or white seramas. My info says any color is acceptable. Anyone care to weigh in?

The Serama clubs are working on getting different varieties standardized and breeding true, you can show any variety of Seramas, but for APA and ABA shows only White and possibly black are accepted, and can go farther than best of varieties in those shows.
