I recently hatched a chick with no black to it's crest. I had my eye on that chick from the time it came out of the egg. It just looked different than any I'd hatched before. Unfortunately, it was also a fragile chick. It didn't make it. I hope I hatch another colored like it soon.

Hadn't had a chance to post up but I received my duck eggs from ppimf, which I think was their first swap, and all were packaged well and intact.

I received 6 lav split ams eggs from rbaker0345. They arrived on 4-15-13 and were packed well. Five hatched. The one that didn't was an early quitter or never developed at all.

I have 3 breese that have hatched from madam. 4 made it to lockdown- 1 hatched out completely on its own, 2 were helped, 1 died in the shell and never internally pipped (completely formed).

mrheinz had sent me 4 icelandics and 8 marans. 5 marans hatched- 3 icelandics hatched. I would have to say the best hatch rate of shipped marans eggs I have ever had.

Hatcher is shut down tonight for 2 weeks until its day 19 for my BBS orps. We are cleaning/sanitizing and installing a viewing door (hopefully)

Received 12 bresse from chiqita yesterday, look all in tact! Today received a BIG box with lots of cuckoo and new hampshire eggs from DMrippy!!! crazy neat bubble wrap that sticks to itself! They all arrive in great shape! Thanks!

Crazy as in drives you crazy getting the eggs out... unless you use a knife?
