CPL ...Yes ma'am you can ( no gaurantee) get a silkied baby we got one in the first hatch this year!! So far only one but we at hatching right now and several of these are splashes and I know our split that carries the gene is the daddy. These babies are not mine though just my eggs we are hatching or a customer! Lol I WISH it was mine though will let ya know if is another fluffy. We had several fluffy adults that were splash but we lost them so this is exciting o se if the gene I'll manifest as much in the splash or if they will smooth and carry the gene...I have a full fluffy ( silkied) roo two fluffy hens and four smooth splits two Roos two hens. So chances are good! Cyndy

I'm window-shoppng while I have my tea. Just got back in from digging out the barn/coop/car/landlady's porch and walkway, doing outside chores and playing with the chickens My chickens don't like snow. They walk right to the edge of the lean-to run, peck at it, put a toe in it, and scurry back, lol!
