Pdz for dust bath?

You could, it wouldn't be harmful (provided it is granular and not the powder form as the latter can cause respiratory issues for bird and keeper) but it also will offer no real benefit over any other choice....what is your thinking in wanting to use it?

I just have tons of pdz, I use it for my pigs' litter pan and also my cats' litter pans and also inside the chicken coop. I went to tractor supply and they didn't have any sand today. It's been too wet lately too get any dirt from the yard and their run is temporarily on a concrete platform. I just thought the PDZ may make for an enjoyable dust bath for them.

See if any of your stores carry barn lime. Ours carry Waukesha brand Shurtred lime. That would be better, and much cheaper than PDZ. Not garden or hydrated lime though.
