Pea Eggs Scheduled to Hatch?

Lol Zoo,,still have a Bronze, another Opal BS and a Charcoal,,,,BSSP quit on me,,never broke thru the air sack,,,and I noticed the Charcoals air sack is bigger, but can't detect movement,,time for a glass of cold Corncord Grape for sitting up all nite. The two purples I have this time seems to be purple pieds,,considering everything else so far has been purple b/s,,,meaning these eggs was hatched from the three hens I had raised and hathched out myself 2 years ago, being 2 straight purples, and 1 purple w/e hen,,hope the rest from the purples in the bator are from these younger hens,,

I sure would like Purple BS if you have any left that aren't spoken for.

Finally, the two blackshoulder hens have eggs hatching under them. They are midnight blackshoulder hens but I swapped their eggs out with eggs from my bronze blackshoulder pen. First one I see looks like an india blue chick which means it is from the regular pied hen in there with them. So it is split bronze, split blackshoulder, and split pied all rolled in one. I hope its a hen

Yes, i move the pen to a new location in the winter and lime it down, spread wood chips it sets like this till hatch time ,then i fill it with sand as they mess it up, after that i let it rest a while then move the pen and start the same process.
I get the chips free from the tree trimmers and they set around in piles for about a year before i use them.
Do you use the wood chips in the mature pens also. I buy a semi load of chips and also have tree trimmers that drop off some. I use to mulch my gardens. They are bigger chips then I have a shreader I run them thru if I want shreaded. Then we rake up somewhat in fall and put in compost. A little bird poo would be great in compost.

Oh Midnight Black Shoulder hens. All these splits are confusing how do you know what you will get or is that the game????

Phenotype and genotype,,,looking the color of one,but carrying the genetics of the other one as well,,,just because a chick doesn't resemble a parent colored bird,,it still has the genetics of the other parent,,which is called "splits",,,which involves a very large, cold bottle of fermented-distliied grapes to explain
