Pea Eggs Scheduled to Hatch?

He won't be a IB then either will he cause he's to dark isn't he? Oh well not my choice but he's here and will stay as my first pea. Any idea what he is???
He does look like regular IB to me, but I could be wrong so don't take my word for it! Sure is cute!

Well the broody peahen hatch is done, there are three blackshoulder chicks with the india blue colored one. There were two unhatched eggs. So that means the midnight blackshoulder hens added one egg to the 5 bronze blackshoulder eggs i put in there. So therefore there are at least two bronze blackshoulder chicks, finally. I have had a hard time hatching them this year. I hope they are both hens.

Okay,,whooze doing the July 6th hatchalong? Doing the moving tomorrow from the rotating trays to the bottom tray,,,these weekend hatches has to stop.
Won't be me -- -woke up to find 4 babies hatched! Whoo-hooo!!!! Happy 4th of July!!!!

The old trailer is turning out to be a nice coop. I really wanted my husband to give up part of the machine shed, but he vetoed that. I think this is ending up to be even better and will be really warm for them. Not quite sure what to do with the flooring, they won't need carpet, ha. It's got cheap plyboard under the carpet. I thought about tearing it all out and adding wire, but no way to scoop the poop out. I know there is some kind of rubber material, but think it's aweful pricey. I don't know if painting the plywood with a cement grade or rubberized paint would be good enough. Would like to do this cheap as possible. I would like to run a waterline and put a hydrant out there which would also help water the corn patch instead of dragging 100's of feet of the cheap hose they make today our there. Of course I want flowers in front of the pens. Hubby thinks I should just leave the boards and put sealer each year on them but I think they would look nicer painted. Lots of work to do yet.
