She seems to be feeling much better today. We gave her a bath to clean off all the green poop and found what looks like an old egg stuck with the poop. I cut it open to see what was inside.

Cut out all the snacks and treats......Only Chicken food and water.......You got lucky, she was egg bound......Nutrition needs balance to keep Hens healthy......So happy she passed that!!.........I know what I am saying so please follow my instructions.....She will be okay!

I hope this won't happen again. From what I've read, this looks like egg yolk peritonitis. Also, she was egg bound last spring & has laid several soft-shelled eggs in the past. With that history, it seems like this is likely to continue.

All I will say is Nutrition in Chickens is VERY complex.....No balance and Birds no not thrive.....I can help.....Just ask....
