I had another sick chicken and completely forgot about this thread. I asked the vet to put Mother to sleep a week and a half ago. It happened again and this time she didn't recover. The yolk was only coming out in little pieces and she was declining. It was very sad & it's been difficult. I wish there was something we could have done for her.
