Pea shortage

During this pandemic, I’m having a hard time getting duck supplies, especially peas.

apparently, everyone is hoarding frozen vegetables.

i can get frozen corn, but I’m thinking that might be too starchy for them?

any other veg ideas? Would they eat green beans if chopped? Kale is also a possibility I know, but damn, they do love their peas...

I know, so weird. Costco stopped selling them a couple months ago and I can't figure out why it would already have been an issue - they haven't been back since. I can still get them at Trader Joes and the regular grocery stores, just smaller bags. I've wondered about corn as well.

If possible, I would look into swaps in your area. If there are any, lots of people have been selling veggies and such there. Thats where Ive been getting my greens! Agriculture was deemed essential where I am, I'm not sure if it is everywhere though. Good luck!

My ducks do love kale, and they love chopped cucumber and zucchini, which is cheap and easy to grow yourself. My ducks seem picky though and only like the veggies I fed them when they were babies.

Carrots and Green beans that are cut to around the same size as peas work, My ducks love them!

My ducks would rather have dry dog food and meal worms for a treat and then some greens on the side!

Mine love lettuce and apples chopped very small, which are still available where I am. They won't eat green beans, corn, carrots ... but mine are picky
