A bit different I know but a predator nonetheless. We recently had a bumper crop of peaches on our tree which is about 10 feet tall. Overnight, every one of them dissapeared. No sign of trample marks and not a single piece of fruit left on either the ground or the tree. My first thought was Deer but I have my doubts they could reach the higher branches and leave none broken. Could the two legged predator be brazen enough to come up the driveway and steal them ? They weren't ripe at the time but getting there. This happened to a friend last year and he figured human responsibility but has anyone else had this problem ?
