The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I'm glad to hear Maggie is doing well! I can imagine trying to keep her contained--she seems very bouncy! What a cutie, though. I hope she can resist the water for a little bit.
I definitely stole this from on here somewhere, so you've probably seen it for sure, but meme for Maggie Moo:View attachment 4180997
Good afternoon, Jen. Maggie is fawn also, she would definitely fit in with those two. She'd be more of a Victoria's Secret. I hope she retains her girlish figure now that she's been spayed.

All of our boxer girls (Sadie, Ruby) have been fawn but not our boys. Brewster is a brindle and Dexter was a dark brindle (otherwise known as black & white).

Just got back from the vet. I brought Spuds in. He had ear mites. I tried treating it with drops but I think they were too bad….$165. It was considered urgent care since I didn’t have an appt. I almost choked. I can see he feels better already. They used ivermectin on him. I wonder if that can be purchased in a store?
You can get it at tractor supply. I had no idea it worked for ear mites but I guess it makes sense because they live off blood. I use it for scaley leg mites but if they are bad I use vasaline also. You might want to spray thier living quarters with it too so the rest don't get mites.

I’ll see if my friends daughter will pick it up for me. She lives in a town that has a tractor supply. The outdoors are their living quarters. The rest seem fine. I will watch them though. Spuds is sleeping like a baby.

Vet care is so expensive! Glad Spuds feels better though.

I had to get some black pants for my Mom's funeral on Saturday. I hemmed up the legs today since they were a bit too long.

I am also baking a second double batch of sourdough bread today.

I keep the bread in the freezer before we head up to redding on Saturday morning.
