Guess it is full, I am going to keep trying though, I hope my daughter gets to see. We just put our eggs in yesterday, and she keeps going and looking through the window to see if the eggs have turned into baby chickens yet..lol..she keeps telling me they are not warm enough becasue they are still eggs. shes only 3 and this is my first time incubating eggs since way befor she was born, I hope I have as much luck as you.
we watched for a minute, she was fascinated, but now shes gone to see if her eggs are doing that. she kept saying oooh look at his little foot! come out of there chciken. She wanted to hold it..lol..thanks so much for sharing this, you made my daughters day.
I just watched one hatch with my 3 1/2 year old. She was excited and thought it was neat. Now I'm really going to be hearing, "Let's go check our eggs, Mom". Hopefully in a few more days she can watch ours and tell her big sister what to look for!
28 eggs went into the incubator 3 weeks ago
5 eggs tossed on day 10 - all clears
1 egg tossed on day 19 - a quitter
22 eggs went into IBW mode
1 egg pipped low, baby smothered
7 still left to go....2 have pipped, 5 no pips yet....
14 babies on the ground and they all look really good!
for the last 7 eggs...
Sure - i'll put the cam in the brooder at least for the first week or so - we can have peafowl cam during the day and brooder cam at night
