8 more peachick eggs into the hatcher this evening....
Got to make room in the bator for the button quail!!
I finally gave up on the 4. They were pretty much fully formed, just never pipped. Hopefully will have better luck with these next 8 so my lonely chick will have some friends!!
Update: Bummer....candled the eggs and all but 2 look like they have quit on me - all of them had some development, so fertility is good, but I wonder if my bator had a temp spike or maybe the turner wasn't working so well on them.
Anyway the good news is I saw one moving quite clearly, and one more that is iffy, but filling the egg enough that I left it in.
Hopefully at least the one will make it to hatch!!
