Because ,I don't think there is a Jade purple, it would require both male and female to have the purple gene and get rid of the spalding in the Jade, so there are a lot of steps to get to one... On the bird from Clifton the photo is not just from a cross of a Bronze and purple, there would be more done to get there or what I call building the base to get the results your hoping for. Maybe he intended to say Jade split to purple
