Try pinching or poking his toes with something pointy, if he flinches, he still has feeling and circulation. I once thought about using one of these for a leg problem:we were not able to straighten his foot out all at. also at the "knee" it tends to point outward too much. leg and foot are cold so I am guessing he has no circulation to them now.
we are going to try to amputate at the knee this weekend. he seems to stand on the knee a lot and hobbles around so we think this would be a good solution.
he is up and eating/drinking and is growing quite well.
