Hi everyone,

Sad to say the peachick just died. I have no idea what was wrong with it. I had been tube feeding it and it seemed to help for a while.

Tonight I came home and found that it was leaking flem (looked like clear snot) from it's mouth. I noticed yesterday the peachick was going down hill which was probably my fault because I took him/her outside for some fresh air and sun. I had the bird out to long and it got cold. I have no idea if this contributed to it's demise.

Has any one else found a bird that leaked out a large amount of clear snotty fluid like this before? I even tried sucking it out of him but it didn't seem to help.

I think I will see if a friend of mine will do a necropsy on it to see if we can find anything interesting. I'm a bit bummed because I was really hoping it would live.
