I built a pen outside for my 6 week old peachicks. It is enclosed on 3 sides and they have been in it for a week. Since it has been in the mid 90's every day I though surely they didn't need any heat, especially during the day, but when I turn the light out they cry pitifully. It is a 75 watt light bulb hanging about 20 inches off the floor in a corner. Are they just resistant to change, or do they really need the extra heat?
