Hi everyone! Brand new here. I just got 6 baby peas 4 days ago. I've been trying to handle them and check them out each day, and today I saw fast yellowish bugs crawling all over them . I'm assuming these are lice. After searching forum after forum I couldn't really decide the treatment. Seems like everyone does something different. These guys are about 4 weeks old so I want to be really careful. What do you all suggest to get rid of the lice?

Thankyou for your reply. Would that be at tractor supply or feed store, or something to be ordered?
Do you know how to sex peachicks?

It WOULD be at tractor supply, aka pyrethrin, sometimes used for flies and so on....and no I don't know how to sex peachicks but maybe @casportpony might know or know someone! Best of luck, I wouldn't waste anytime getting after it, sounds like they are pretty infested. Clean coop thoroughly etc etc etc, woodash going forward, assuming of course that it is lice....do research on that, I am not sure...aww that pic so cute....

@WVduckchick any thoughts? Does it sound like lice and if so any further ideas about treatment?

Oh you must completely spray with pyrethrin where ever they are living and clean out, throw out all bedding (I would burn it) the lice lay eggs of course so totally keep an eye on it, spray the babies a couple shots especially on their rear ends then move them to clean area/housing...then repeat if you see more

This is a natural product BTW
