Here are my 2 little peachicks-cameo is about 3 weeks old and the other is about 1 month old. I'm wondering if anyone can tell the gender of the "other" peachick?? Maybe still too young but I thought I would give it a shot thank you!! Oh, and do you still think it's a black shoulder??

I ask as it looks like my cameo that I think might be female and mine is 5 weeks old...

No, I'm not sure if my cameo is a male or female but that sounds great if she is a girl - thanks! Does your cameo have light barring on her? I'm not sure if you can tell by the picture of ours but it is really light.

I'm not sure because we bought hem from a feed store and they didn't know either.

If you had known it might have been easier for you to sex them. In sex linked peafowl if a cameo male breeds a bronze hen all of the female chicks will be cameo and split bronze the males will be split to bronze and cameo and look like a blue male. The other ways if breeding them will have different results. Connerhills

I too have a peachick, well 2 out of 14 mixed I bought that's the color of your "cameo". One has bars on wing, other does not-looks smooth, like the color was spray painted on, does this mean I have a male and female cameo, perhaps, maybe,accidently, oh I hope so. guess I'll be waiting too.
