Peacock as predator

I was thinking corall them into something. Start feeding them at a spot you could easily run them in to catch?

IDK....Maybe someone is an eggspert on peafowl catching...?

Calling all P-fowl wranglers!

Good luck with however you try! Hope it works the first time!

Where can I get some inexpensive netting to catch them with?
they always eat the suplimental feed I put out for the free-rangers, so that might work.
thanks to all responders
still, if anyone local-or not so local wants to get them- feel free to e-mail me for directions!

I think they roost up in the trees in the woods between my house and the cabin on the hill behind us (they put out feed for deer)
sometimes one shows up, sometimes two
There used to be a hen, but last we heard of her she was setting a nest nearby (3 years ago). I guess something got her!

Sounds like fun to me

Find the peafowls roost and catch them. I always have a roo or two that I can't catch like the others. I just leave them out till around 9p.m. and me and my hubby go out to see who can find the chicken! LOL He used to not like this but since I threw in the 'if I find it, I get a backrub...if you find it, you get whatever you want' LOL Now he loves to go find the chickens!

I guess I am too country...I find things like going to find your peafowl in the middle of the night fun!

Catching them at night, in this neck of the woods!!!!!
East TN is straight up and straight down and my back acre is for sure. It's a tough uphill climb, then find the tree, scale it, hope it's on one of the lowest branches (which start at about 20 feet up).
You call this fun?!?!?!?!

Oh, your in S Alabama, flat like coastal SC. I guess then it would be easier.

Wanna come to E. TN for some fun?? Promise you can keep what you catch! Just watch out for the bears!

I guess it would be a little harder to do in different terrain. LOL It isn't like that here.

I'm tempted..really LOL My husband hates peacocks. He would opt to use it for target practice and shoot it.

We used to have a few and then they decided they liked roosting over our bedroom with those loud calls. It was either the peacocks or him....I finally, after alot of thought

, chose to keep the husband.
