Peacock Feathers!

It's that time of year where our pretty peacocks loose their fabulous tail feathers. So I have been collecting all the feathers I find and have been wanting to craft something. Have any of y'all made stuff? If so please share~~

Ok, call me crazy, but you know those room divider screens? What about instead of the plain fabric panels, you got 2 pieces of plexiglass & arranged the feathers between the panes & mounted 'em back in the frame?

I don't know if that might bee too wacky of an idea or even if it could work, but maybe it can get an idea going in another direction that's useful to you

I think Plexiglass may be prohibitive in price for something that large, but I bet there is a cheaper alternative. It's a great idea. And I love the hat, @BirdsBeesTrees. I bet you could sell those at a craft sale. Big Bucks!!

Yes! I use my impeyan pheasant and peacock pheasants feathers.

Ooo such pretty creations~~~ glad I posted, I'd never think of a steampunk hat or the bullets, and the idea of a room divider sounds nifty as well~~~
Those pheasant feathers look so pretty, I was thinking of getting a couple next year.
