I have a peacock that is close to a year old now, and about two days ago I walked outside and he was gasping. I dont hear anything in his lungs, no rattling or gurgling. I dont see anything in his trachea, he has no other symptoms at all, no caughing, sneezing, runny eyes or nose or drooling. Its not gapeworms, his throat and trachea are completely clear. Just gasping.
I gave antibiotics but so far it hasnt worked. We are in Florida and it is very hot, but the rest of my peafowl are fine. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Please help, I dont want to lose him!
