that is what was said above....

Fenbendazole 100mg/mL Safe-Guard or Panacur 10% yes yes yes yes
1) 3cc/gal water for 3 days. Can repeat in 10 days.
2) 1cc (bird over 1 year), drench down throat for 3 days
3) 1/2cc (bird between 3 mos. and 1 year) oral drench down throat for 3 days.

Mine falls into the #3 category of bird between 3 mos. and 1 year

BTW if it has blue neck and barring on the wings it is a male.... brown wings and green on the neck it is a girl.

Well it is a girl and guess what we figured out what the problem/issue was. I thougth DD had checked her over really well and evidently not. I looked her over really good last night and the OBVIOUS problem showed itself. MITES! I was so angry at myself for not checking her myself. all you had to do was lift her wing up and there they were EVERYWHERE. Needless to say, they all everyone(chickens/ducks/goats/peacocks) got doused with SEVIN dust ASAP and we will see how she is doing. She did not want to drink or eat this morning and I hope we got to her in time. BY her looks this AM, I am not holding out much hope.

Yeah I guess we learn, I never thought of mites in the winter time. Guess if dogs can have fleas in the winter, chickens and peafowl can have mites! Hard lesson learned, it won't happen again!!!

DD went out and doused the other peafowl with sevin dust and the surrounding floor area. I will check in a couple days to see if they look better, they were just stronger I guess to combat the mites!
