Peacock loosing feathers

This peacock is approx. 3 months old and seems to be loosing feathers on the neck. Is this anything I should be concerned about?


You can see his bare skin pretty well in the photo. I haven't noticed this until recently.

Dust for mites and lice maybe?

He is probably just molting. All birds molt. Molting is where they loose their feathers but they regrow.

He is just out growing his feathers, what are you feeding him?
