At our local Chickenstock we have twice a year the Peacock IB feathers go for $3 each and the people sell out quickly.
I have not looked in any of the stores or flower shops but everyone tells me I should. Someone told me today I could probably get a whopping $1.50 per perfect eye feather. Okay, they can buy from someone else. They are worth what someone is willing to pay and since I feed the peas and care for them and the feathers cost me nothing to keep then I will hang onto them until someone who values them as much as I do comes along.
So far I have sold quite a few and have orders for more in the eye feathers, sword feathers and butterfly feathers.

I do sell ones in less than ideal condition for less money though.

People barter for what they can take from you. Hang in there, you will find someone that has an abundance of something and is willing to make a trade for what you have.

Someone cleans my house I would have to give them a whole peacock

I need new everything,in this old house and the weather has put our building on hold cause we have to have a really big and high pad for the building itself cause our place floods after 3 days of rain. and of course to save money we are doing that part ourselves cause 200 loads of dirt would cost more than the building.
