Peafowl 103: Illness, Injury, Medication and Care (in progress)

Sorry I missed the fact that you were having these difficulties. My hatching season and chicks have been going great, lots of hens deciding to sit their own eggs as well, so we have mom's and babies running around everwhere. Downside has been that I had to start some serious cancer treatment again, so I have not been able to get very good pictures of the babies this year. We have hatched 2 Violetta and 1 Violetta BS chicks so far. Hope you can get the M. Galisepticum under control.

I think its wasn't M. Galisepticum, i think they just got the virus because of cold drafts, sorry to hear you need to fight it again, i hope you will get well soon.

My Peacock has a swollen right side of his mouth, with a little cut. He swallows every now and again and is closing his one eye on the same side. I don't know if he was attacked by something or if there's some disease that makes their cheeks swell. He is not wanting to eat now, his beak doesn't line up now either. I do have Redtail Hawks and raccoons around, so something could've injured him. But if someone knows of a disease makes one side of their mouth's swell let me know, so I can start something, Like
400
antibiotics. Thank you. I am very worried about him.

What is that? A fungus? He won't let me open his mouth. He is semi wild. I can get a few inches from him that's about it.
You have to catch him. That pigeon has canker, but other things can look just like it. If he has something like that it will get worse and will probably kill him.
