I know this is an old thread but just in case someone wants to hear my 2 cents. We have free ranging birds. We currently have 2 toms and 3 peacocks. Getting rid of one peacock so we’re down to 2 peacocks. We have one turkey hen and one peahen (yes, I know that ratio isn’t right but we had a freak accident with the peahens last year and lost all hens and chicks except for this one. Also lost the other turkey hen to a fox. We will be organising the ratio after breeding season is over and I know how many girls we’ll have. Also, one of the toms is that old I don’t even think he can reproduce any more.) Anyway, the boys don’t even worry about each other except for one peacock. He stirs up all the toms, drakes, ganders and even the ram. Everyone else gets along perfectly fine.
