Peafowl "crowing"

I am new to peafowl and mine are quite young yet. I have one that is approx 3-4 months old. Was wondering if the females make that shrill sound or if only the males do? I am trying to determine if I have a male or female on my hands

The other two I have are only a couple weeks old. The oldest one makes a shrill in the morning when I go to do morning chores. I am wondering if it is only males that do this - then I am going to have one gorgeous pied india blue on my hands... if the females do - well she will be pretty too
