Good luck to you. I took in a mare and colt last summer. Both are doing great, just big babys.

I'll bid $40. We have horses, and I"ve taken in starved animals also. It cost alot to rehab them.

Thats a great thing your doing!! I've taken in a few rescues myself The last one wasn't so successful we ended up having to have him put down. He was also a padded walking or horse or had been, who had been broken down in his hips from the pads.. I know alot of people may ride and own horses like that but to me its cruel and just not worth the missery some of these go through at the later years in their lives.

This case was sad, they had the food to feed them, but just didn't they honestly thought they were feeding them right??? There also was a pregnant mare that we got with this one she was 9 months breed and didn't look it, her ribs were showing. She had a healthy colt 3 months later. The daddy of the colt had to be put down before we picked those 2 up.

This is the one we lost that was the padded walking horse
