Greetings!
I am blessed with poultry: one rooster, 11 hens and 9 poulets, however, no peacocks, nor do I know of anyone who has them.

Here is the story: My Gram turns 89 on July 15th. In her own words, she hasn't had a lot of "ambition for much of anything", especially since she broke her shoulder over the winter. When about 3 weeks ago, she shared with me that she would really like to visit live peacocks [and hens]. Using the internet, I located a farm in Bucks County, PA and a ery small zoo that has free ranging peafowl north of Harrisburg PA, but none in Maryland. Her grandson is concerned they might be too far away for her to ride comfortably that long from Harford County Maryland.

I would really like to take her to see some peafowl as it is really the first thing she has shown interest in in quite sometime. She is not very ambulatory as she can only walk about 20 feet; mostly our adventures involve rolling along in her wheelchair, or taking drive in the car together.

If anyone knows where we might be able to get her a reasonably close look to observe these brilliant birds it would be most appreciated.

THANK YOU!! Becky

If you are close to Taneytown, MD., Peachick on here has them. Also one of my friends on here R@ndy lives in Taneytown, MD. also. His boss has several pairs of Peacocks. You could check with both of them. Hope it works out for your outing. That is so sweet of you, I'm sure she will be just thrilled.
