I have rescued a peachick about 2 1/2 mths.old.Since this afternoon, it is very lethargic & not wanting to eat.Since, the weather is changing here,it's getting colder,I have it the peachick under a warm lamp.What should I do?

Treat it for cocci asap.

Welcome to BYC, how is your pea doing? Is a vet an option?

Have you noticed any other symptoms or changes in behavior? I would treat for cocci as recommended with medicine you can get at farm stores or online. Is your pea kept with any other birds and what is his area like? Make sure he is still drinking water and try to feed favorite treats. You can put the medicine on or in treats to get him to eat it.

Hi, my pea chick kis all by itself.As if now his/her legs have no life.I have b been giving it ORS, ground back gram paste & boiked egg paste as he has started getting loose motions.For loose motions, i gave given s tiny piece of NORFLIOX TZ.I hope he will survive
