Peafowl Noise, How bad and at what age do they start?

Nice video, I haven't seen a grown Peacock Display since I was a little kid at the Bronx Zoo, It amazes me how big the train is.

Well, I now have heard the noise in person, I was given a Older Pea yesterday, I am guessing around 2 or 3 Years old, This morning My Rooster Crowed at about 6;30 am, My Turkey tom then started to Gobble and all of a sudden this very loud noise that is new to the farm here started, he is quite loud and I don't think anyone was ready for it. My dog's cocked there heads my Turkey Tom started to Gobble like crazy and both my Roosters started there noise the rest of the animals here I was unable to see there reactions since I was just about getting into the shower when I almost slipped and fell from the new noise.

Congratulations!
Be careful we don't need ya coming here telling us you broke your leg or sumthing cause you slipped in the shower over a screaming bird!

My GF is going to flip when she hears it, this is suppose to be our nice Country get away, I think she liked the idea of a farm with out all of the farm animals. I told her I wanted a small hobby farm. I think her Idea of small and mine is a bit different.

The males are 2 never hear that during the day but scream every 5-10 minutes at night think the neigh ors are gonna complain soon don't understand why its only at night and so often at those times!

Just wait until *all* of your male peacocks start doing it.

Mine do it 24/7, usually when they hear a noise or see a hawk, cat, skunk, etc...

She said to me yesterday, Hey I heard a cat last night, I was thinking to myself you a Cat with wings. She'll figure it out soon I think.

If they can hear your peas in their home they got a problem with insulation cause mine holler up in a tree by my house and i have to turn stuff off in here to hear them.

Well the story goes the house is on top of a rivine and the peacock enclosure is below the hill but they come to the top every night and sleep on top of the hill, there is a farm/streetlight in front yard so they can see every little thing that moves and they scream all night long wakes up the whole house with windows closed so there is no way the houses on the bottom of the riving can not hear it and get mad after awhile! If I let the females out of the cage would that make them quite at night?
