Peafowl Questions i have

2. Is it hard to take care of peachicks?
3. How many eggs does a peahen lay a year?
4. When do they lay eggs?
5. When are they sexualy mature?

1. Well hatching peafowl eggs is not a job for first timers, they a harder to incubate than Guinea eggs I know that

Peahens lay more eggs if you take the eggs away...They will lay maybe a total of three clutches if you take the eggs away, if you don't take them it depends...If the peahen messes up or the eggs she lays are not fertile or are eaten, she will keep laying eggs until she gets some good ones that hatch or until breeding season is over.
4. Peahens lay eggs in the Spring and Summer (breeding season). When they lay varies.

Here is something else you might want to know...Peacocks will have their first train (with the eye feathers and all) at three years and with each year after that the prettier the train gets until finally it stops getting better at maybe 7 I think I have read? I don't have really old peafowl yet so I am not totally sure but yeah.
