peafowl size UPDATE WITH PICTURES

How big in size compared to chickens x2 or x3 bigger or anyone have photos of peafowl next to chickens and or humans so I can see in comparison how far mine have to go?

Some pics i took they snuck into the chicken coop for some food! when will the larger male get his full blue chest? and will he get any bigger or is that about it?

That's probably about it for size. How old are they? Peacocks don't get their full colors and tail until they're around 4 years old. Even then they seem to get better with age and of course high protein, good food.

he will get his colors at 2 yrs old, also will breed then. 2 yrs short train, 3 yrs old long train.

They will grow a little bit more if they are this year's hatch, but don't expect too much more if they were hatched near the start of the season. They mainly bulk up a little.

Ok and sorry for all the questions the little ones are at least half the size of adults but have all there feathers, they do sit on there feet a lot and spend most the days now in the coop, temps during the day have been about 10-15F and nights maybe colder by a bit should I still be letting them free range or lock them in the coop cause there to young for such cold?

If they really want to stay inside, they will. I would keep them in on the windier days though.
