Hi, I have an opportunity to get a couple of peafowl eggs that I'm thinking of hatching. I have a small number of laying hens in a 48 sq ft coop with an attached 150 sq ft mesh enclosure. With thoughts to having them roam free on my 3 acres most of the time, would it be realistic to use the henhouse as winter shelter? If anyone knows of a good online source of info please pass it on :)

The farm from which I got my peafowl wintered their peas with their hens with no issues. They've been doing it for years as is my understanding.

Nugget, you will get more responses in the peafowl section.
