How much space do peafowl need in there pens? More than turkeys or about the same? Do peafowl fly as good as heritage turkeys?

Pea's fly/jump better than turkeys. They have those long legs and jump very well. Ours come and go from their pen when they want, it's a 6 foot fence and they have no problem clearing that. We have one hen that is like clock work, she comes out every morning about 6am for her morning walk. checks out the house, the front yard, cruises thru the garden. I don't know what the recommended space is but the more they have the better they seem to like it. When we put ours in the breeding pens you can tell they aren't happy at first.

A pen 10ft X 30ft X 6ft (min) good for a peacock and 3 or 4 peahens.

Will need a top on the pen also.

Think they need more room than turkeys, Just look how much larger the peacock is when displaying.
