Peahen behavior

Well I have a little white peahen that was picked on so she is alone to heal, she is healed up now and I have put her with a male that is very loving toward her well he was injured badly flying into a part of the metal roof on their house. I thought he was a goner but vet removed the skin and he is finally getting feathers back. Sorry about the long story but I needed to set the story up for what I witnessed. Well the boy has not been strutting so she is always preening him and such. A couple of days ago I went out after the rain storm to check on them and she is on her belly tail up walking like that calling really weird. The male in the next pen goes crazy runs the fence. Never witnessed this before was she just wanting to be breed do you think? Anyone else every seen this.

I've seen similar behavior. I used to have a BS peahen that didn't like BS males, she liked IB males. If I left her out of her pen she would mosey down the center aisle of our barn, until she was outside the IB's pen, she would honk and call loudly while walking. As soon as she would get to the IB pen the male would charge the fence and she would drop, I used to just open the door and let her in, they would mate within a minute and then I would let her back out and escort her back to her pen. Lady with a mind of her own I suppose.

Yeah hopefully he will, glad he is okay. That hen was the only one I've ever had that was like that. I miss her.

I have another behavior that is a little curious for me, we have the 2 year old males, one is a few months older than the other so their train is not yet developed.
We've had them in the cage for about 2months now and I have them eating out of my hand occasionally.
But recently, when I go out to give them some food or a treat, one is giving me his full feathers up and head in that male position and strutting with his feet. sometimes I get the rear end few, but most of the time he gives me the full front look.

The don't think I'm a threat since they will come eat out of my hand and still be in full(for a 1yo) display.
Do they think I'm a female?

or is this something else they're trying to tell me?

Think of them as teenagers, who are just starting to feel their hormones for the first time. They are practicing and it doesn't matter if it is a hen, me, you, a cat, a starling, a bucket, or anything else, they will fan and shake at it.

Yep, just like that, but not yet both at the same time.... one fans and the other acts very indifferent.
We let the older one out of the cage for 15 minutes the other day and all he did was fan and strut around, he pecked at a few green weeds, but never got into grazing.
