Peahen from somwhere

I remember that yesterday afternoon, I went to the barn and saw it and googled a Peahen call and played it loud...last night my hub said it was vocal and pretty loud for the first time....interesting....I hope it doesn't have an illness...doesn't appear sick, but we have noticed some flys on it's back..not sure if this may be normal...I know our horses have flys all the time that they swat....

Ya know sometimes when i have a peahen sitting a nest there will be flys around them, no bad eggs cause i always check but it only seems to happen with the white hens, i have noticed it for the last 2 seasons, sure has me scratching my head.

I have never seen this with chickens, guineas, geese or ducks even a duck with bad eggs did not have flys like the white peahens do
